Angel Is Very Sick

This one is for Angel.

Heavenly Father, Angel is very sick. Her eardrums are busted and she has snot in her lungs. Mumma always has to smoke her. Please bless her eardrums and bless her to get the snot out of her lungs. Please bless her body to win the fight. Bless the dinosaurs and I love you in the stars. Name a Jesus Christ, Amen.

[Dad's Note: "Smoking" Angel is Bridger's way of describing the process of treating her with an albuterol nebulizer. Angel has two ear infections, both perferated. She also has a serious upper respiratory infection, and must be "smoked" every few hours. Please keep our little sweetheart in your prayers.]

Sunday Night Prayers

BRIDGER
Heavenly Father, please help me sleep good and have a good day at school tomorrow. Please help me have good dreams.

Heavenly Father, I sometimes wonder why Jesus made sting rays have stingers, but I already know why- because it's their protection against predators.

Please bless Jack Hanna and Stein the dolphin. Please bless West to have a good day tomorrow and bless Coulter not to break my tracks while I'm gone to school tomorrow. I love you in the stars. Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

WESTON
Heavenly Father, please bless Bridger so he have a good day at school tomorrow and please bless Coulter. Bless my froggie and Ziggy and Goffy. Name of Jesus Christ, amen.

COULTER
Heavenly Father, Amen.

Ode to the Crocodile Hunter

This one is for the Crocodile Hunter.

Tonight we are watching lots of shows about the Crocodile Hunter. He is a totally tough guy. He just picks up snakes and he isn't even afraid of them. We watched a show of his very last adventure before he died. He discovered a stone fish. That's the most dangerous fish in the ocean. Then they catched crocodiles. First they put a rope on their mouth, then they all hop on top of the crocodile.

Then they went on the boat to find a box jellyfish. That's a very dangerous fish that shoots it's tentacles at you lightning fast. You'll be dead in 5 minutes.

Sting rays aren't mean creatures. I touched lots of them and they are very nice. It was just an accident that one poked the Crocodile Hunter in the heart.

I'm sad that the Crocodile Hunter died. Not kind of sad. Way sad. I wish I could meet the Crocodile Hunter. I want dadda to take me on an adventure with him. Maybe after the resurrection. That way you can get bit by something and it won't hurt. I love the Crocodile Hunter. When I watch his last adventure I don't even laugh at the funny parts because it's special.

Heavenly Father, please bless the Crocodile Hunter. Help him to help the animals and dinosaurs in the stars. Please bless his kids and his little boy that's cute like Coulter. Amen.

This one is for poor Duke.

Today is a very sad day. Tiffy's dog Duke died. He was very very sick and he is with Jesus now. I have very special feelings for animals and people when they die. I think about them and I say special prayers for them.

Heavenly Father, please bless Duke-Duke so he'll get better up there with Jesus. Please bless everyone in the whole world. Please bless Tiff because I love her so much. I love her 43, even 95. Please bless her to be happy. Name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Weston Swallowed a Penny

This one is for Weston because he swallowed a penny.

Weston swallowed a penny today. When you swallow something it goes into your tummy. That penny is still in his tummy. So is momma's wedding ring. He swallowed the ring a long time ago and it never came out. He almost swallowed my big dinosaur money too. Why does Weston do this?

Heavenly Father- please help Weston. He swallowed a penny and a wedding ring. Please make him better and don't let him swallow anything else, please.

[Dad's Note: Weston has a history of swallowing things- no matter how much we 'kid-proof' our house. The penny seems to have made its way down his gullet and safely into his stomach. Now we wait...and search...]

Smoking Coulter With an Air Confreshener

This one is for my brother Coulter. He is sick and I love him so much.

Coulter is sick. We took him to the doctor and they smoked him with an air confreshener so he could breathe better.

Heavenly Father, Coulter is sick. Please bless him so he will get better. Please bless America and all the nice people in the world, but not strangers. I love you in the stars. Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

[Dad's Note: Coulter has a mild viral respiratory infection and had a breathing treatment at the doctor's office today, hence 'smoking' him with an 'air confreshener']

Prayer For the Toothless Dolphin

This one is for Uncle T.

Today I was petting the dolphins and I saw one with no teeth. Zero. He comed over to me but he saw that I had no food so he just swam away.

I'm worried about that dolphin with no teeth. I wonder how he lost them. Maybe he got cavities in them all and they fell out. I hope the other dolphins will be nice to him because he's a good one.

Heavenly Father, please help that dolphin. He has no teeth. Not even a single teeth. Please help him to be happy. Name of Jesus Christ, amen.

America's Special Day

This one is for Kevin Costco. He is with Jesus now.

I learned that today is a special day. Today we remember that some evil guys killed 3000 good guys. They flyed those planes into the buildings and it blew up and fell down. It doesn't make me sad. It makes me angry. When I think about it I get angrier and angrier. I watched that on a show 2 times and I wanted to watch it again. When I watch it I feel special for those people.

It wasn't today. It was 5 years ago when I was a teeny baby. Weston was still with Jesus getting made when this happened. I'm glad we have soldiers to protect us from those bad guys. And police and firemans.

Heavenly Father, please bless that man Kevin Costco. He is a good guy. Please make him feel better and please bless his babies.

[Dad's Note: Kevin Costco is actually Kevin Cosgrove, who died in the south tower of the World Trade Center on 9/11. Bridger has paid close attention to the 9/11 memorials today and had a lot of questions, which we answered honestly. I showed him some of the footage, which he's been very interested in. Apparently he learned nothing about this in school today. Granted, he is in kindergarten. But in teaching him about 9/11 today, I feel he has learned a healthy life lesson.]

A Special Prayer for Weston

This one is for the Utahraptor. He has terrible claws on his feet that can rip other dinosaurs to shreds. I saw a really cool big plane, but it's not cooler than a Utahraptor.

Something is wrong with West. They sticked a needle in his arm and sucked some blood out so they can find out what's wrong. I will say a special prayer for him so he will get better because Jesus helps us when we're hurt.

Heavenly Father, please help my brother West. He has something wrong and he got blood sucked from him at the doctor. Amen.

[Dad's Note: Weston had a checkup and some labwork done today. It wasn't necessarily routine, but it isn't necessarily worrisome. But it's sweet that Bridger is so concerned about his brother.]

We Need To Find That Poor Girl

This one is for that girl who is lost.

Did you know there is a little girl that is lost? I seed it on TV. She is 5. She's missing and somebody took her. I'm very worried about that little girl. Has anybody seen her? Heavenly Father, please help that girl get home and please destroy the bad guy who took her.

The TV is showing everybody that she's lost, but maybe some poor people don't have a TV so I should put it on my blog. I drawed a picture of her so people will know what she looks like.

[Dad's Note: The lost girl is 5 yr. old Destiny Norton, missing in the Liberty Park area of Salt Lake. Info here. Bridger has been worried sick about her all day.]
