My Dinosaur Zoo

This one is for my teacher.

I invented this cool zoo at school and I drew a map of it. The prices are 25 cents or 20 dollars or 30 dollars and you get to pick how much you pay. There is a big allosaurus cage that has a laser and electric fence. There is a hammerhead shark tank and an aquarium. There is a big dolphin tank too. Then there is a pleurodon tank and a compsagnathus cage.

All the guys on SpongeBob are all there in the zoo to meet kids. There is even a learning place where you can go if you want to learn something. If you have a question about any animal, the answer is in there. If you get hungry, you can go to 2 restaurants- Dino Burger and Sea Sandwich. It's a great zoo!

[Dad's Note: Notice the checkboxes on the left. Bridger says those are so he doesn't leave anything out.]

Dang That McDonalds

This one is for Coulter.

Dang that McDonalds. We went there and dadda got these chicken strips. He asked them for this kind of sauce and then we went home and there was no sauce. How fair is that? Dadda ate them anyway cause he paid good money for those chicken strips.

[Dad's Note: You'd think they could get a simple Chicken Selects combo right. It's bad enough that these chicken "selects" are devoid of flavor and are dry as beef jerky. But forgetting my buffalo sauce is downright despicable. ]

McCall's Valentine

This one is for Mickey Mouse.

I was trying to figure out if I should finally eat the M&M's off the valentine McCall gave me back on Valentines Day. First I thought I should save them because they are part of the valentine and it would lose its specialness if I took those M&M's off.

But then I figured those M&M's are there to eat. Plus, I helped McCall make those valentines in the first place. So I ate the M&M's. They were the tiny kind and they were so good.

You Can't Milk a Manatee

This one is for Kelsi that lives in Texas- only she's not in Texas right now- she's here!

Dadda asked me what SpongeBob makes krabby patties out of and I said, "What do you think? Meat." Then he asked me what kind of meat and I said "Sea cows." The problem with that is that "sea cow" is also another name for a manatee.

But there must be another kind of sea cow that's more like a land cow, because everybody knows you can't milk a manatee.

Bugs For Sale!

This one is for a sky dragon.

I got a great idea! I'm going to sell the bugs I find. I'm a really good bug finder because I know all the places that they live. Beetles are easy to find because they're everywhere. Worms are underground. Bees are kind of tough to catch.

I find bugs all day long, so I make these nice homes for them in plastic bags. First I get a plastic bag. Then I put some organic material in it because that's what most bugs eat. Then I put in the bug and some grass or leaves for them to play on. I also get clovers for their bed, and maybe a few dandelions.

I think I'll sell worms for $1, potato bug $2, ladybug, $10 (that's because they're harder to find). And firebugs for $15 and butterflies for $20. Sneaker spiders are $31. So you get the bug and the special bug home, but I'm thinking about only selling the bug home. I don't know.

My Book: Dinosaurs Ruled First

This one is for Grace because she helped me at school today.

I wrote a book for Authors Night at school and it's so cool. It's called Dinosaurs Ruled First. It's a great story that I made up. I had to draw what I wanted my book to be about and then I had to write the story and draw the pictures in the book. I didn't want to color them because I knew that would take so long to do. But I decided to color the pictures. It turned out really good. Here is the story I wrote, but you'll have to come to Authors Night if you want to see the pictures!

DINOSAURS RULED FIRST

Long, long ago there was dinosaurs that ruled our world. Some ate plants. Some ate meat. Sometimes they fought. Once in the Triassic period, there was a mommy longneck and she was looking for a place to lay her eggs.

She found one after a couple days. There was a tyrannosaurus rex that wanted to eat her babies. The longneck got scratched, but the t-rex gave up.

He went to find more food. He didn’t find any food. Then his life passed by and it was a different period. And he died out.

In the new period, a 10-feet long millipede came by. He wanted to eat the t-rex that had died. He ate it.

Then he got into a fight with a giant lizard. The giant lizard pushed the millipede on a thorn. But the millipede was still alive. He stayed alive until the next period.

Then there was a pterodactyl who wanted some food. He went to the river to catch a fish. Before he catched a fish, a pleurodon tried to eat him.

The pterodactyl went to a different spot of the river. He caught a fish. Then every other pterodactyl came to catch a fish in the same spot.

Then all the Jurassic period was gone and the cretaceous period came. The dinosaurs died out, and mammals came to the earth.

THE END.

Free To Good Home: 1 Piranha

This one is for my dragonfish. Do you know why? Because our piranha ate our dragonfish.

I just gotta find somewhere else for our piranha to live. His name is Chlorella. He's big and he eats every other fish we put in there. There was this poor little fish that Kekoa's dad gave us and he lived with that piranha for a year and all he did was run away from the piranha all his life. One day Chlorella finally got him.

Then we bought this cool dragonfish that looks like an eel. It was so cool, but one day we looked at the fish tank and he wasn't there any more. I just know it was that dang piranha.

Dadda says maybe we can fry him up and eat him. I told him I'd rather find somewhere else for him to live. I been thinking maybe we can put him in a lake somewhere, but that wouldn't be good because people swim in lakes and piranhas and people are not a good mix. I think we should get some kind of wire cage and put Chlorella in it and stick it in a river. That way he's in water and can't get down the river to where people are swimming.

[Dad's Note: To clarify, Chlorella is actually a pacu- the legal and less aggressive cousin of the piranha. We actually inherited this little slice of heaven from the people my sister bought her house from.]

April Fools!!!

April Fools, everybody!!!

I just fooled the whole world! I planned this all along! I always try to find good April Fool's jokes but I never remember until it's not April Fools anymore. This time I remembered. Did I fool you?

I won't ever stop writing this blog. I been doing it for almost 2 years now and there's no way I'm stopping because I because I love dinosaurs more than anything in the world. Even though sometimes kids at school make fun of me, dinosaurs are special in my heart.

[Dad's Note: Bridger has been waiting to play this joke for a long time now. Admittedly his school work and extracurricular activities have limited his blogging time, but The Dinosaur Boy is here to stay.

Oh, and the baby chickens weren't part of the April Fools joke. They're for real.]

Dinosaur Boy to Say Goodbye

This one is for my new chickens. I love them so much, but I don't want them to lay eggs because I don't want to eat them. A chicken is the closest relative of the t-rex.

We got some new baby chickens. Their names are Ripter, Pirate Ship, Ripper Racer, and Ming Ming. They are so cute and I wish I could pet them, but they'll die if I pet them. How fair is that?

I'm sad because tomorrow is my last blog. I love to write these blogs, but I just don't have time anymore. I love dinosaurs so much and some day I will find their bones and help create a dinosaur.

[Dad's Note: Regular readers may have noticed the decline in frequency of Bridger's posts lately. The truth is that we've had to give a lot of extra focus to his school work the last month or so. My work and other obligations severely limit the time I can spend helping him. He said he would like to write one last post tomorrow, and we'll seal up the website and call it good. Thanks to all of you for your comments and emails. Stay tuned tomorrow night for Bridger's final post.]
