Cold-Blooded or Warm Blooded?

This one is for Heavenly Mother.

Did you know that reptiles are cold-blooded? That means they don't make their own heat. They have to use the sun for heat. Mammals are warm-blooded, but I sometimes think I'm a cold-blooded mammal because I like dinosaurs so much.

But even though dinos are reptiles, sometimes they act like mammals and sometimes scientists don't know whether they were cold-blooded. I'm pretty sure spinosaurus was cold-blooded because he has that big fan on his back. He probably used that to get warm in the sun. It probably also made him look meaner so he could scare off other dinosaurs.

Deep Gospel Musings

This one is for the dromeosaur. He is a very powerful raptor.

My church teacher said a word today that I've wondered about my whole life. She said "Heavenly Mother." I always figured we had a Heavenly Mother cause it makes sense. The thing is you never hear anything about her and we don't really talk to her like we talk to Jesus and Heavenly Father. Maybe we don't hear much about her cause Heavenly Father doesn't want people saying bad things about her.

McCall Is Scaring Me

McCall is kind of scaring me lately. She keeps kissing me on the cheek. That kind of scares me because kissing is a girly thing. I had to kiss a girl when I was Prince Charming in my preschool program, but I didn't want to. That was just my part in the play. It worries me that McCall is kissing me.

The Three Haballeros

This one is for Donald Duck.

We were watching this show called the Three Haballeros about 3 birds that keep on disappearing in wierd places. Donald Duck is one of them and he is in love with this girl and he has to choose between the 3 haballeros and the girl. They keep on disappearing in wierd places and it's hard to see the stuff moving around them. A haballero is a hat that has a black spot in the middle and it spins. In the end, Donald chooses the haballeros instead of the girl. Good choice.

We watched the 3 haballeros, now we're going to watch the Three Musketeers.

[Dad's Note: "Haballeros" = "Caballeros."]

Jaglavak: Master of the Killer Ants

This one is for the jaglavak. He's a very powerful ant that lives in the jungle.

You gotta watch this show about the jaglavak. I hate driver ants but I was kind of cheering for these ants called the jaglavak that helped these guys get the termites out of their house. There's worker termites and guard termites and there is the queen who has a really fat butt because she has millions of babies in there.

They prayed for rain and put these rocks in blood and stuff for magic. I don't believe in all that stuff but they did that and some rain came. Then they got the jaglavak and killed lots of the termites. The best part is when they go after the queen. It's a pretty good show. That's why I watch it every day.

UPDATE: I Love Miss Lori, but...

UPDATE: I decided not to quit acting class. Miss Lori is such a good acting teacher and it would just break her heart if I quit, and I can't do that. I would really miss going there if I quit. I was kind of crying when I went and Miss Lori gave me a hug and asked why I was crying. I told her I just don't want to do so much princess stuff, so she told me she would make it so I didn't have to do so much. But I did really like doing the pirates stuff. That makes acting class fun.

---------

This one is for experiments, Pokemons, and Yugios.

I love Miss Lori. She's so fun and very beautiful. The reason I like her is that she does the funnest things in the world and teaches me lots of fun songs and stuff. Last time we were there Coulter lost her tape, so Dadda had to go to Maverik and buy her some new tape. I didn't mind that because that means I got to go take her that tape and see her again. I waited until she wasn't busy, then I took the wrapper off the tape and gave it to her like a gentleman. She was glad to get that tape.

But the thing is I'm thinking about quiting my acting class because Davis just won't leave me alone. Plus the bigger kids get all the good parts and sometimes my class has to just stand there. It's hard because I love Miss Lori and it's fun doing all our songs and dances and stuff. I don't know what I should do but it will be sad if I quit.

Wednesdays with West: My Very Own Blog

This one is for Lightning McQueen.

Hello world. My name is Weston and my dadda made me my very own blog. I love froggies so, so much. I have a froggy- he's a firebelly. He's the best froggy in the whole white world and the whole white space. That's why I wanted to have a froggy blog.

http://westonfrogblog.blogspot.com/

[Dad's Note: Weston has been asking for a while now for me to create his very own blog, so head on over and check it out! I'm not sure how often he'll post, but he's pretty excited about it. He got a little digital camera for Christmas and has been taking pictures to put on his blog, so stay tuned for those and many enlightening musings from our resident mechanic and frog aficionado.

Oh, and for you Wednesdays with West fans that feature will remain here. And Bridger will be a regular guest author over at the frog blog too.]

The Best '3' I Ever Drawed

This one is for Weston.

Take a look at this homework I did. See that '3' in the middle? That's the best '3' I ever drawed. I drawed a lot of '3's' in my life and this is the best one. Can you believe Dadda can put my homework on the computer? That's pretty cool.

I Love Miss Lori, but...

This one is for experiments, Pokemons, and Yugios.

I love Miss Lori. She's so fun and very beautiful. The reason I like her is that she does the funnest things in the world and teaches me lots of fun songs and stuff. I waited until she wasn't busy, then I took the wrapper off the tape and gave it to her. She was glad to get that tape.

But the thing is I'm thinking about quiting my acting class because it takes away my time to play, plus there's a lot of princess stuff. Plus the bigger kids get all the good parts and sometimes my class has to just stand there. It's hard because I love Miss Lori and it's fun doing all our songs and dances and stuff.

So I am going to ask the world if I should quit acting class or not. You should write me a comment and tell me what you think. That will be kind of cool because I get to hear what everybody thinks, and that means I'll get a lot of comments!

Scutellosaurus: The Bipedal Armored Dino

This one is for the Wonder Pets.

Do you want to know an interesting dinosaur? Scutellosaurus. He's from the jurassic period but before stegosaurus and ankylosaurus. He doesn't have a club tail or spikes, but he is in the same group as stegosaurus and ankylosaurus called Thyreophorans. And he was probably bipedal. That means he walked on two legs. I thought this dinosaur would be interesting to people reading my blog.

Wednesdays with West: I Want a Harmonica

This one is for Angel.

I really want a harmonica because it makes pretty music. I told Mumma I really really want a harmonica and she said let's go to the dollar store and find one. So we goed to the dollar store so we goed to Toys-R-Us, then Macys and we asked everybody but they said "we don't have one."

Then we goed to Wa-Mert but there was no harmonicas there- only ukuleles. If I had a harmonica I would play pretty music like "Jingle Bells." Maybe tomorrow we can go to a guitar place that's full of instruments. Maybe they will have a harmonica for me.
