My Book: Dinosaurs Ruled First

This one is for Grace because she helped me at school today.

I wrote a book for Authors Night at school and it's so cool. It's called Dinosaurs Ruled First. It's a great story that I made up. I had to draw what I wanted my book to be about and then I had to write the story and draw the pictures in the book. I didn't want to color them because I knew that would take so long to do. But I decided to color the pictures. It turned out really good. Here is the story I wrote, but you'll have to come to Authors Night if you want to see the pictures!

DINOSAURS RULED FIRST

Long, long ago there was dinosaurs that ruled our world. Some ate plants. Some ate meat. Sometimes they fought. Once in the Triassic period, there was a mommy longneck and she was looking for a place to lay her eggs.

She found one after a couple days. There was a tyrannosaurus rex that wanted to eat her babies. The longneck got scratched, but the t-rex gave up.

He went to find more food. He didn’t find any food. Then his life passed by and it was a different period. And he died out.

In the new period, a 10-feet long millipede came by. He wanted to eat the t-rex that had died. He ate it.

Then he got into a fight with a giant lizard. The giant lizard pushed the millipede on a thorn. But the millipede was still alive. He stayed alive until the next period.

Then there was a pterodactyl who wanted some food. He went to the river to catch a fish. Before he catched a fish, a pleurodon tried to eat him.

The pterodactyl went to a different spot of the river. He caught a fish. Then every other pterodactyl came to catch a fish in the same spot.

Then all the Jurassic period was gone and the cretaceous period came. The dinosaurs died out, and mammals came to the earth.

THE END.

Hello, I was googling photographs of cool dinosaurs when one photograph led me to your blog. I think you are a very smart boy and your entries intrigue me, especially this one! I recently moved away from my little brother and he is a smart boy like you, I sure do miss him. Please continue writing your wonderous blogs because I can tell that someday you are going to be very successful with all of your knowledge. Thank you for your posts Bridger!
