Free To Good Home: 1 Piranha
This one is for my dragonfish. Do you know why? Because our piranha ate our dragonfish.
I just gotta find somewhere else for our piranha to live. His name is Chlorella. He's big and he eats every other fish we put in there. There was this poor little fish that Kekoa's dad gave us and he lived with that piranha for a year and all he did was run away from the piranha all his life. One day Chlorella finally got him. Then we bought this cool dragonfish that looks like an eel. It was so cool, but one day we looked at the fish tank and he wasn't there any more. I just know it was that dang piranha.
Dadda says maybe we can fry him up and eat him. I told him I'd rather find somewhere else for him to live. I been thinking maybe we can put him in a lake somewhere, but that wouldn't be good because people swim in lakes and piranhas and people are not a good mix. I think we should get some kind of wire cage and put Chlorella in it and stick it in a river. That way he's in water and can't get down the river to where people are swimming.
[Dad's Note: To clarify, Chlorella is actually a pacu- the legal and less aggressive cousin of the piranha. We actually inherited this little slice of heaven from the people my sister bought her house from.]

Hi Bridger,
Your fish reminded me that we need to go fishing this year. We need to catch a lot of fish and have a good ole fish fry.
Love,
Tammy
Many classrooms like the donation of a free pet to help teach other little kids about certain types of fish.
Ever thought to ask your teacher if she'd be willing to allow Chlorella to live in the classroom during the year?
