A T-Rex Named Sue
This one is for Sue, the T-rex.
Did you know that the biggest T-rex ever found was a girl named Sue? Dad T-rex's should be the biggest t-rex's, but Sue is a girl! How fair is that? This paleontologist- he found out how old she was by counting the growth rings in her knee bone. That's cool how you can do that.
She was bipedal, but scientists used to think that t-rex's just stood up and dragged their tail and just looked for food with their heads up.
But now they know they bent down with their tail up so it balances like a see-saw. The head looks like the heaviest, but the top part of the tail is heavy like that, so it needs to balance.
What they're still trying to figure out is how it kept all of its weight on only two legs and still run so fast.
