Wednesdays with West: I Know How To Drive a Car

This one is for Bridger because he's being really fussy tonight.

Dadda teached me how to drive a car. Now I can drive a car! First you start it up. Then you back it out into the road. Then you need to put it in a gear. I like dadda's car cause it has a stick that you use to shift the gears. Mumma's car doesn't have that stick.

First you put it in first gear. That's over and up. Second is straight down. Third is over and up. When you want to stop, you put it in neutral. That's right in the middle and you can stop. Dadda teached me all that and now I can drive a car. Do you know what else I can do? I can clap so hard it almost breaks my hands!

Usually a late-nighter, the school schedule really threw Bridger for a loop. By about Wednesday every week, he'd have a meltdown and crash, and Weston had to step up and fill in.
