Proganochelys, the Dinosaur Turtle

This one is for a proganochelys. That is a dinosaur turtle that has pokes on his back.

Most people don't know that dinosaur turtles were the chelonian type of reptile. Chelonians are alive today! But chelonians from the dinosaur times had teeth, but the chelonians now don't have teeth. Pretty cool, huh?

Proganochelys was a chelonian with pokes on his neck and shell. It was a pretty tough dinosaur turtle. It was hard to attack and it was a predator. But the thing is, it would be pretty easy to kill him. Just flip him on his back.

Proganochelys couldn't swim but he had friends that could, like protostega and placochelys. Those two could swim and they ate jellyfish.

Once upon a time proganochelys was walking along the beach and he ran right into his friend, protostega. Protostega invited him to sleep over at his house. So they found placochelys and some other swimming dinosaur turtles and they all slept over at protostega's house. The End.

Bridger,
What awesome information. You are like Jack Hannah in miniature.
I haven't written for awhile because I lost my password. Ask dad what senile means.
Here is a funny story about a tooting turtle..

Flatulent Turtle Sets Off Fire Alarm
December 29, 2006

Unfortunately, there was no one else around to blame. A hungry turtle who munched on Brussels sprouts managed to create big enough bubbles with his flatulence that it actually set off the fire alarm at the Sea Life Center in Weymonth in the UK. The flatulence was strong enough to set off the sensors throughout the aquarium, according to Marine Biologist Sarah Leaney. When Leany raced to the aquarium, she thought it odd to find the place relatively calm and quiet. According to the Daily Record, she says: "When I got there, all seemed fine. I looked at the tube containing the sensor and saw a turtle beneath it. As I watched, a few large bubbles emerged from beneath him and rose to the surface next to the tube.
