Along Came a Spider

This one is for Silas because tomorrow is his birthday.

Today we did our nursery rhymes at school. McCall was Little Miss Muffet that sat on her tuffet and I was the spider that scared her. Too bad there is no dinosaur nursery rhymes. But my costume was so cool. McCall didn't think I would have my costume ready in time. She said maybe she'll have to find a new spider. But momma made my costume so fast. It was made out of a black shirt and dadda's socks.

My teacher was the queen of all the hearts and it was very fun. I scared McCall away, but not for real. It was all pretended. She wasn't even sitting on a tuffet. What is a tuffet, anyway? I think that word is pretended too.
