When I Grow Up

This one is for Kelsey, Ryan's sister. When we go camping I snuggle her by the fire.

I love all the babies in the whole wide world. I love Ainsley and Coulter and Carter and Oaklie and baby dinosaurs. But dinosaur babies are not like people babies. Like you can't trim a baby dinosaur's toenails because nobody has clippers that could do it.

I don't want to grow up because when you grow up you don't play any more, you just go to work all day. When I grow up I will be a paleontologist that finds dinosaur bones. I will look somewhere in the mountains and in the desert and in the jungle. Maybe there's dinosaur bones under my house!

Grown-up dinosaurs hunted and got leaves for the baby dinosaurs. When the babies get older the grown-ups teach them how to hunt. Then when they're 5 years old they hunt for themselves. I don't hunt because I'm not a dinosaur. Momma and dadda just make my food. I will start making my own food when I am 43.

Hey Bridger,
Yeah... I think I was about 43 when I started making my own food.
You don't have to worry about getting to old to play. I bet dadda plays a lot during the day.
I go outside at night with my boys on the trampoline and tell ghost stories and sing along to their underarm toots. We laugh so hard. So see.. you are never to old to play and have fun!
Love,
