Bridger's Jungle Survival Tips
This one is for Jane. She is a good friend.
Lions are the king of the jungle but Dinosaurs are the king of the world. I love the jungle but you better be careful because there's a lot of wild animals there. I'm always careful when I'm hiking in the jungle. I'm not scared of the bugs and if I get scared I just climb and climb.
Dinosaurs lived long before people but something tells me there are still dinosaur eggs somewhere in the jungle- somewhere in a really deep spot where all the wild animals are, like monkeys and chameleons and spiders. You better be careful for those and you better be careful for ticks.
When a tick gets in you, you have to smoke it out of you. If you try to pick it out it's head will stay in you. Ticks don't breathe out their nose like we do- they breathe out their bodies. If I ever catch a tick I'll put it in a jar and put it by my sneaker spider.

Bridger, Jane says thank you. You are so smart. Jane's mom, Lisa
Hey Bridger,
You know, you might be right about the dino eggs in the jungle. I bet there are places unexplored, just waiting for you to grow up and go find them! I think you will be famous someday like Jack Hannah or the Crocidile Hunter. Then I will tell all my friends I know you, get your autograph, and make you take me out to dinner.
Love,

Bridger - I have seen a real live Dinosaur. In fact, I've seen a few.
I used to live in a country called Thailand. One time my wife and I were riding our motorbike through the mountains and jungle when we came on a wild Elephant. Yep, they are dinosaurs too!
I think the elephant didn't like the noise of the bike because next thing I knew, he turned around and chased us! One thing people don't really know about elephants is this - they are FAST! LOL
But he didn't chase far - he just wanted us to go away and we were very happy to do that!
Near our old house in Bangkok there were lots of open air restaurants and every night people brought their tame elephants along so people could feed them. You'd buy a bunch of bananas or some sugar cane and feed them....right at your table!! Very cool!
If you love dinosaurs, Thailand is definitely the place for you! There are a lot of places where they have archaelogical "digs" and they've found some really ancient ones. Do you have GoogleEarth on your computer? If you do, have a look here: http://bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/showthreaded.php/Number/957500
If you look 75 miles to the East of that spot, you can see the city I used to live in, Khon Kaen, also a very cool place.
Put on your travelling shoes, young man. The world is a big, exciting place.
