I Gived Weston a Haircut Today
This one is for Momma.
I gave West a haircut today because he asked me to. West just said cut my hair, so I found some scissors in the drawer and cut it. Then he said cut it again. I just taked the scissors and cut his hair more. It was on the very top of his head that I cut. It was a good haircut. It's so easy to cut hair!Momma just cut all Weston's hair off after that. Momma's in charge at our house. I used to think Dadda was in charge of Momma. Like if I'm hungry, if Dadda tells Momma to make my dinner than she makes my dinner. But Dadda had a talk with me and now I know that Momma is in charge of Dadda and in charge of us. Because we be nice to Momma because she's too special.
[Dad's Note: We'll be finding a new place to keep the scissors now. As for "who's in charge," Momma called me today at work to tell me that Bridger informed her that she wasn't in charge of him and that he didn't have to do anything she said. I had a little chat with him about family hierarchy and set the boy straight.]

So Bridger,
Do you think you would like to do haircuts for a job? I'll bet Dadda and Momma would like it if you checked with them before you cut ANYTHING. Jen cut her own hair when she was little. She cut her bangs. It didn't look so great, so it made us laugh. Good luck on your use of the scissors.
Love you,
Steph
Hey Brider,
I am glad explained to you that mama is in charge. She is such a nice mama too, so you are lucky. I am pretty sure dinosaurs had mommies and daddies too. I bet the daddys went out and hunted for food and mamas stayed by the volcano and took care of the dino children. Here is an article on some fossils found in China of dinosaur family that you might like:
The information provided by the fossilized remains in Liaoning, China allow paleontologists to infer that the Psittacosaurus and the offspring were in fact traveling as a family group. The close proximity as well as the bone mass and shape of the offspring allow paleontologists to conclude that the 34 smaller fossils were the offspring of the adult Psittacosaurus. This information, combined with that of the Isle of Skye, allow paleontologists to reason that there was, in fact, parental care provided by adult dinosaurs to their offspring.
So I guess thats just the way it is with families.. a dad, a mom, and children they love and want to keep safe. Isn't that great?
Love,
